Archery Providers Map

Archery is an activity involving skill, accuracy and self discipline.

Archert Target

An archery target

It focuses your mind and your body on the small actions of drawing and aiming your bow and arrow, and releasing the string at exactly the right moment, to cause the arrow to gracefully fly through the air and (hopefully) land right in the center of the target.

There are several different types of archery including 3D archery, field archery, clout archery and crossbow archery, although most archery providers use target archery which can be both an indoor and outdoor activity.

Target archery is an Olympic sport, where the target is at a range of 70 or 90m, but thankfully most people start out shooting targets at around 15 meters! As your skill improves (which will happen quicker than you would think), the target range can be lengthened to really challenge your skill.
